Yellow signs, like traffic lights, depict a warning and urge readers to take appropriate precautions. These signs are triangular in shape and can be warnings against; high voltage and other electrical hazards, chemical hazards, flammable hazards, construction signs, overhead obstacles, explosive hazards or biohazards. Red warning signs usually indicate a prohibitory order, either bringing awareness to an already-present hazard or one that may arise following certain behaviours. These prohibitory signs typically have a white background, a black and white pictogram, and clear, thick red line crossing through the image. They also feature a red text box with white text in order to draw the reader's eye. These signs can include: no smoking, no entry, no mobile phones permitted, or authorised personnel only. Types of safety barriers include: Temporary Temporary barriers include bollards, pedestrian barriers, retractable belt barriers, and scissor barriers, plastic work gate barriers, post base, and chain barriers. Temporary barriers are often lightweight and easy to manoeuvre. Temporary barriers are ideal for sectioning off an area that is under maintenance or repair or for crowd control and queue management. Fixed Fixed barriers include pedestrian and traffic barriers, crash and impact barriers, car park barriers and fencing. The robust structures are anchored permanently to the concrete or floor with surface fixing bolts, through bolt anchors or chemical anchor bolts. Safety barriers are used in a wide range of safety and security applications. They provide protection for people in the workplace and everyday life. Types of identification badges: ID card holders can be made of plastic, transparent rigid PVC or acrylic and can come with clips. Certain badges have advanced security features as they are sealed for optimum protection of the magnetic strip that is used to swipe a device or door to gain entry, and protect the badge from being removed and duplicated.
