Motorola, Inc. was an American multinational telecommunications company founded in 1928 by brothers Paul and Joseph Galvin as Galvin Manufacturing Corporation. Motorola diversified its product line to include radios, televisions, and two-way radios, and it became a leading manufacturer of transistors in the 1950s.
